Super Balls

I’ve been designing some characters in Illustrator. They are called Super Balls and each have their own special abilities and personalities. I’ve created all the bio’s for the basic balls and have got the advanced and gods to go, but will be submitting them in every now and then so keep a watch!

Hope you enjoy.

My Kind of Design

I’ve been looking at the catalogues on WorldWideFred.com and I just love some of these ideas that product designers have come up with! These are my favourites that I may just have to get in the future!!!

Split
Salt and pepper have long been natural table companions, but now they’re closer than ever. Each half of our Split shaker can be used independently or you can shake them together for a perky condiment combo. Hidden magnets keep the two halves perfectly aligned. So come together, right now. Peggable clear display boxes.

Design: Jean-Laurent Vie, Liz Goulet Dubois, Fred Studio

Stacked
Stacked is comfortable in the hand and amusing to the eye. No matter how you grab it, it’s guaranteed to enliven your coffee break and perk up your pantry. Stacked is made from glossy, durable high-fire ceramic and holds 12 fluid ounces. Each is packed in a colourful gift box.

Design: Vice Versa, Italy

Pick Your Nose
Who knows how to liven up a party? YOU do! Each of these photo-realistic paper cups comes emblazoned with a new nose. When you tip your head to take a drink – voilà – you get an instant nose job, and a chuckle from the crowd. Remember, never turn your nose up at a good laugh! There are 24 12-oz. cups in each pack, evenly divided between male and female proboscises (errr, noses). Packed in a nice clear box.

Design: Jason Amendolara, Luke Boggia

Hot Heads
Fred sez: follow your animal instincts in the kitchen…put on one of these insulating silicone mitts before touching anything hot! Our Hot Heads’ mega mouths will protect you from burns and put a smile on your face while they’re at it! Now available in THREE styles – Cat, Dog, & Mouse! Flexible, grippy, strong, safe…and charming. Handsome plastic display boxes.

Design: Winnif Pang

Table Saw
Table Saw is the perfect accessory for your kitchen tool belt. It’s big and toothy so you can slice and dice your lettuce without discolouring it and show that cake that you really mean business! Aren’t you feeling handy already? Packaged on a peggable printed backer card.

Design: Winnif Pang

Equal Measure
Do you want to measure stuff the old-fashioned way or would you prefer to view your measurements in a surprising new light? Fred says, go for it – next time you make brownies, use a tyrannosaur’s brain of flour, or sugar equal to the water in a cumulus cloud the size of the bus. Equal Measure is half measuring cup, half laboratory beaker, and all fun. And don’t worry, we included ounces, millilitres, and cups on the scale too! 2 1/2-cup capacity, heat-resistant, dishwasher-safe borosilicate glass, individually gift-boxed.

Design: Dr. Harry White

Freakeys
Remember these wiggly, giggly finger-puppet monsters from your childhood? Fred does and he’s brought them back as handy key covers. Don’t be afraid of FreaKeys – their jiggling antics are all part of the fun. 6 colourful styles are all packed together in a clear, recyclable, peggable PET-G box so they can wiggle when you give them a shake!

Design: Liz Goulet Dubois, Christina Sciullo

Summer Changes

Right, time for a new look. I’ve added this basic theme to the blog to match my Portfolio. Which is also an addition: My portfolio, which I keep spelling wrong, has been added to the internet!! Under http://portfolio.antonybearpark.co.uk/, so have a look if your not busy (you shouldn’t be busy if you’re reading this!). Anyway, that’s under the title, up at the top, as well as my updated Contact page, and Flickr photos! Homepage got changed to http://antonybearpark.co.uk/ a while ago, but Home is my main page of my blog (may change to a blank page with a bio about me). Apart from that, I think that’s all!

Bring on the heat, summer sun! Had a lot today at the Barton Stacey fete!!!

Wow!!!

Well as some people may know, I love Chain Reactions, but even better than that, I love Chain Reactions used in ways to help promote a product or as a music video. So here are my favourite Chain Reaction adverts and videos that have just amazed me!

New Domain

Ok so I’m on my way to creating my website, so I thought I might as well start with a new domain, as the other was running out soon. So now you can find my blog at

http://www.antonybearpark.co.uk/

the .info domain will still work however.

World Map

This is my latest Portfolio piece. I downloaded the trial for the Adobe Design Suite CS5 the other day and have been testing out a few bits, especially on Photoshop (like the new Content Aware Patch Tool). This was made using Illustrator and Photoshop CS5 though no new features were used that I’m aware of. I just thought of this idea after seeing a Europe version. And I can see why America and Russia was left out. Even so this is my version! Find it in my Portfolio!

Year of Change

Volcano

Middle of April and this year of change has affected so many people so far. I’d say pretty much half of Britain never want snow ever again. But Britain haven’t had it that bad, Haiti had their earthquake, Chile had an earthquake a month after Haiti, and the China Earthquake, a month later. Moving around to Europe, Madeira had mudslides, France had floods after their winter storms, and the Iceland volcano continues to erupt. Within Britain, the River Thames burst it’s banks early March and Britain sees the results of the volcano as dust falls from the sky

To be continued…

Dream Déjà Vu

Last night I had a dream Déjà Vu. Not like normal Déjà Vu where you remember seeing something before and when it happens you freak out a bit. This was a dream I had before, but I knew exactly what was going to happen, because I had dreamed it before. Within the dream, I remembered that I had dreamed it before, and decided to change the course of the dream by making different decisions. It was quite weird. The same events happened, but I was just in a different area to where I was in the first dream. Quite weird indeed…
